Ann Barre, Principal
Ann Barre has more than 20 years experience in communications consulting,
including extensive work with Fortune 500 companies and federal government
agencies. She helps EBG clients who need effective media outreach and
messaging support, grassroots coalition management, and crisis
communications counsel.
Ann is currently working with a Fortune 100 company to identify and secure
high-profile speaking engagements for C-level executives throughout the world.
For several years, Ann has partnered with patient advocates, business, state
government and the generic pharmaceutical industry to ensure that affordable
prescription drugs are widely available in the marketplace.
Ann has extensive experience providing communications counsel and support
to federal government agencies. She was an appointee to the Immigration and
Naturalization Service (INS) where she coordinated initiatives related to the
federally mandated Coordinated Interagency Partnership Regulating
International Students (CIPRIS).
Ann built her expertise in video production and media relations while serving
as Vice President of Washington Operations for a video news and production
company. In that capacity, she worked with Fortune 500 companies to shape
media messages and develop crisis management plans.
